Masonry

The Masonry program has been designed and planned to impact on the labor needs of the local construction industry by training and graduating students with the basic skills.  This program is designed to give students entry-level skills in bricklaying, block laying, and concrete finishing.  Trade theory and estimating are also covered.  Outside practical work experience includes dugouts, concessions stands, storage buildings, concrete pads and walks, etc.  The major areas of study in the Masonry program are bricklaying, concrete, block work, stone masonry, estimating, and blueprint reading.
