Electronics - Computer Repair

The Electronics/Computer Repair Program has been structured to increase the student's value to potential employers with Comp TIA's vendor neutral A+ certification training.  The students' first year is highly concentrated on the competencies needed to pass the two A+ exams.  The program focuses specifically on the fundamentals of Electronics basic circuitry, measuring and diagnostic equipment, and proper alignment and troubleshooting procedures used in the repair of electronic equipment.  Students also receive advanced training in semiconductors, power supplies, amplifiers, digital electronics, computer fundamentals, advanced study of microprocessors, and offers additional theory in the student's personal career choice area.  Cooperative Education and Job Shadowing opportunities also exist for upperclassmen.
