The Mission Statement of the York County School of Technology Technology Plan emphasizes the importance of providing faculty and students technological resources that will assist students in working cooperatively and in reaching their greatest potential. Technology Coordinators, Steve Dahlheimer and Terry Zortman are committed to provide guidance, support, and training in the implementation of state of the art technologies.

Technologies supported at York Tech include scheduled and walk-in computer labs, Plato computer based learning system, ISDN and satellite distance learning systems, and Channel One. Many academic and career based networked applications are also available for student utilization.

Emerging technologies and technologies piloted by faculty members are continually evaluated for implementation into our technology infrastructure.
