The York County School of Technology is dedicated to providing a program of high quality, cutting-edge technical training integrated with a strong academic education and an emphasis on critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and team-building skills.

Program Overview

This one-year program provides both the academic background and clinical experience necessary for a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Clinical experience, which occurs under the direct supervision of the Practical Nursing Faculty, is provided at the following health care facilities:

• York Hospital
• Luthern Home of York
• Memorial Hospital
• Rest Haven - York
• York County Hospital and Home

This program is approved by the

Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing

and accredited by the National League for

Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)
